Clementine December Canine Angel 2007

November 13, 2005 was very exciting for me. The breeder called and told me my girl had been born. I had tried for over a year to talk my husband into letting me have a puppy, when he finally agreed I was filled with excitement. On November 14th, I picked out “Clementine”. She was the whiniest one there but I just had to have her. The breeder told us we could take her home the week after Christmas 2005. Unfortunately on December 20th our family had a house fire and we lost everything we owned. We were torn between whether or not we should still get Clem. We were living in a hotel and had no idea what we should do. We had finally decided to wait on the puppy. I was heartbroken but was going through so much that adding a puppy didn’t seem like the ideal thing to do at the time. I called the breeder in tears because I REALLY wanted this puppy. The breeder had already heard about our fire and asked us to come to her house immediately. We drove over to her house and she handed us Clementine and told us she was exactly what we needed at this point in our lives. It turned out she was right. Clementine has brought so much to us; it was as if we had a new born baby. My husband & I couldn’t stop holding her and loving her. She is the best dog in the world and we wouldn’t trade her for anything. Catina E. Troy, Ohio
