Bella LuLu April 2006 Canine Angel
Bella’s life with me was meant to be. Just over 2 ½ years ago, my Sharpei canine soul mate, Bubba Lulu, departed from earth. Bubba, through a holistic approach to her failing health, had nearly doubled her expected lifespan, but when the time came for Bubba to depart, I heard Bubba say to my spirit, “Get another one now, mom.” I was specifically led to seek a litter of four female Cocker Spaniels, and was impressed that one Cocker Spaniel would be different than the rest. It was a strong leading, even though I wasn’t really looking for that particular breed of dog. I decided to place an ad in the local newspaper, the ad read “Looking for litter of four female Cocker Spaniels.” The first day my ad ran in the newspaper, right next to my ad, another ad was placed; it read, “Litter of four Cocker Spaniels.” That was the very connection that led me to my new canine companion. I instantly bonded with the one little Cocker Spaniel different from the rest of the litter, and Bella Lulu and I began our lives together. I constantly reflect on how such an extraordinary event joined the two of us, and cherish each day Bella Lulu and I share together.
